Best Chop in the city!
I cut my locs a few months ago and Buck was the first barber to bless my mane.....haven't been any where else since. Great atmosphere. Tons of laughs and enlightening discussions!

They employ an anti-gay barber who likes to use slurs. His name is Marlo Mathews. So if you care about the LGBT people in this world, and don't believe they should face discrimination while getting their hair cut, shop elsewhere.

These guys are committed to excellent service, with a modernized location you can feel comfortable waiting in, comes as a surprise the appointment system they use, all appointments are booked online, which to me is very impressive, you can be sure that you won't be waiting if you booked an appointment. Anyone visiting a barbershop usually comes with cash although this place if you don't happen to have cash they accept cards too.
Honestly impressed with the service, quality of cut, and the modern business methods used by this barbershop.

Best Barber Shop in Memphis
This is by far the best barber shop in Memphis. The barber's are professional and real... The conversations are classic, you walk away learning something new every visit. These barbers are my people and if do almost anything for em!! Shout out D, Big T, Mo, Marlo "the celebrity barber", Ringo and my barber Buck!!

It's a great experience always coming to this barbershop. Not only are there good barbers, but actual barbershop talk & engaging in conversations with their regulars. You probably won't find another one anywhere else lol
Great barbershop period!
Buck probably one of the best barbers I've came across. As far as detail, time wise, etc.. everything on point. This barbershop period is a great environment as well great barbers. Interactions, daily conversations, and peace of mind.
Lifesavers with class
Was on my way across country behind schedule to report to the set of a new film...needed to show up with a cut they specifically wanted...had one night stop over in Memphis.. Google shops and got very lucky with Chopper City. Brought in reference photo, and Buck hooked me up to the tee. Professional, kind, welcoming and just all around perfect. Marlo kept the conversation smooth and Buck kept the clippers buzzin. I only wish these cats were in my home city of Hollywood. You have no idea how good you have it out in Tennessee. ...these cats would dominate out here ..much love and I'll see you again when I roll back thru....for certain. Mr. Riverside
